Radio Goethe
The weekly Radio Goethe program, hosted by Arndt Peltner, presents a diverse selection of music from the German music scene ranging from Krautrock to Industrial, from Rock to Pop.

Until January 2011, Peltner's Radio Goethe music program aired live every Thursday on KUSF (90.3 FM) in San Francisco, starting at 8:30 pm. Unfortunately, the University of San Francisco pulled the plug on its KUSF radio station without warning. But listeners don't have to be in the San Francisco Bay Area to hear Radio Goethe or its companion news and culture broadcast, Radio Goethe Magazine. The music show is also still syndicated to over 40 other (mostly college) radio stations in the US, Canada, and overseas. It is also available online and as a podcast.

The format for Radio Goethe is that there is no format. Arndt Peltner, the show's host and producer, plays an eclectic mix of songs – in German and English – by artists and bands from German-speaking Europe. The genres cover the full range of the German pop music scene today.

Radio Goethe Magazine
Another aspect of Radio Goethe is the weekly news and culture program known as Radio Goethe Magazine. In it Peltner offers features about German culture, including his trip to Afghanistan – where German troops are stationed – and news from German-speaking Europe.
