Hallo :] Ich komme aus Texas.
I just found this German forum and thought, wow this would be a perfect place for all of my questions about grammar etc.
Like I said above, I am from the United States of America. I live in Texas, I don't come across a lot of people my age here trying to learning german. Let alone anyone in my small town trying to learn it.
Two years ago, I met my boyfriend Jan Frederek and he is from Remscheid Germany. Yes yes, I have fallen in love.:)
I have always loved languages, and hearing my boyfriend and his friends talk German, I wanted to learn!
I am learning all by myself and I must say I think I have done a great job. Right now I am using Rosetta Stone and that has helped me tremendously.
I'm excited to get to meet new people and learn more about the language that I love.
