    Beide Sätze sind richtig. In 1) bringt die Wirtin unbestimmtes Wasser, in 2) hingegen bestimmtes Wasser, z.B. welches, das der Gast bestellt hatte.

    The verb "auf etwas kommen" is a bad example. "Ich komme auf seinen Namen nicht" is not a well-formed sentence. However, "ich kenne seinen Namen nicht" would be a valid example, in which "nicht"...
