Examples: Ich lese einen Roman. I'm reading a novel. Er liest die Zeitung. He's reading the newspaper. Liest du gern? Do you like to read?
Note: lesen is a so-called stem-changing verb. In the singular present tense for du and er/sie/es, the first e vowel changes to ie. The plural forms do not change. |
