ANNETT LOUISAN: GERMAN SONG LYRICS

Annett Louisan released her first album in 2004. “Bohème” had the hit single “Das Spiel.” Most of the lyrics for Louisan’s songs come from her producer, Frank Ramond. The melodies are by songwriters Hardy Kayser and Matthias Hass.

Louisan’s latest album, “teilzeithippie” (“part-time hippie”), was released in 2008. The single from the album, “Drück die Eins” (“Press one”), did well on the German music charts.

Born on 2 April 1977 in Havelberg, Germany (as Annett Päge), the songstress now lives in Hamburg when she’s not on tour. Her stage name is derived from her grandmother’s first name, Louise.
