Das Bundesarbeitsgericht hat die Klage eines Arbeitgeberverbandes abgewiesen, die zum Ziel hatte, der Gewerkschaft Verdi sogenannte „Flashmob“-Aktionen im Einzelhandel zu verbieten.
The [German] Federal Labor Court has rejected the suit filed by a labor association, that was aimed at banning so-called “flash mob” campaigns by the Verdi union against the retail trade.
Bei einer Flashmob-Aktion lassen Aktivisten zum Beispiel volle Einkaufswagen in den Gängen stehen und sorgen so für Durcheinander.
In a flash mob campaign, activists, for example, leave full shopping carts standing in the aisles to create confusion.

*flash mob n. A group of people who organize on the Internet and then quickly assemble in a public place, do something bizarre, and disperse.
