In the control center, where all the district’s 112 (911) emergency calls arrive, there’s a small computer with a monitor that is used for tracking mobile phones.
Das neue EU-Satellitensystem EGNOS verringert die Ortungsungenauigkeit der derzeitigen GPS-Signale von circa 7 bis 10 m auf 2 m.
The EU’s new EGNOS satellite system reduces the current GPS-signal positioning accuracy of about 7 to 10 meters down to 2 meters.
