Kurz nach halb vier hatte es eine Störung im Trafo der Schaltzentrale der Automatischen Verkehrsregelung (AVR) gegeben, die die Ampeln lahmlegte.
Just after 3:30 there had been a fault in the control center transformer for the Automatic Traffic Control (AVR), which knocked out the traffic lights.
