Mit Zuckerbrot und Peitsche sollen die Kreditinstitute dazu gebracht werden ihre Zinsen auf Darlehen für Häuser zu senken.
The carrot and stick approach is supposed to get the banks to lower their interest rates for home loans.
Die Redewendung „Zuckerbrot und Peitsche“ wird oft im Zusammenhang mit Bismarcks Politik des 19. Jahrhunderts genannt.
