Mit dem neuen Album landet Rammstein auf dem Index. Was für ein tolles Gratis-Marketing - da werden andere Künstler natürlich neidisch.
With their new album, Rammstein has landed on the Index [has been banned]. What wonderful free marketing! Other artists are envious, of course.
(The German term "Index" comes from the Roman Catholic Index Librorum Prohibitorum, or "Index/List of Prohibited Books," dating back to 1559 [abolished in 1966]. When the German government bans books, CDs, DVDs, or films, one says in German that they are "indexed," indiziert.)
