"Den Videobeweis wie im Eishockey wird es nicht geben, dafür gibt es im Fußball zu wenige Unterbrechungen", so Fifa-Präsident Joseph Blatter.
"There will be no instant replay, as in ice hockey. There aren’t enough interruptions in soccer for that," says FIFA president Joseph Blatter.
Die umfassendste Nutzung des Videobeweises gibt es in der NFL, der amerikanischen Profi-Footballliga.
The most extensive use of instant replay is in the NFL, the American professional football league.
Die Fifa sagt gerne, sie wolle die Schiedsrichter schützen, der Videobeweis nehme ihnen die Hoheit über das Spiel... Unfug.
FIFA likes to say that it wants to protect the referees, that instant replay takes away their sovereignty over the game… Nonsense.
