Der Begriff Fiaker wurde im 18. Jahrhundert aus dem Französischen entlehnt: in der Rue de Saint Fiacre befand sich der erste Standplatz für Lohnkutschen.
The term Fiaker was borrowed from French in the 18th century: in the Rue de Saint Fiacre [in Paris] was the first "taxi stand" for hackney coaches (carriages for hire).
In Wien sind die Fiaker heute eine beliebte Touristenattraktion.
In Vienna today, "Fiaker" carriages are a favorite tourist attraction.

*Fiaker: verlängerter Kaffee mit Rum und Schlagobers, heiß serviert.
*Fiaker: espresso with water (caffé lungo) with rum and whipped cream, served hot.
