Why does a meat fork have only two prongs?
Deshalb werden während einer Essenspause das Messer mit der Spitze und die Gabel mit den Zinken zur Tellermitte zeigend abgelegt.
For that reason, during a pause in eating, the knife and fork are laid on the plate with the knife tip and fork prongs pointing towards the middle.
