Der Autochef forderte eine EU-weite Einführung der Abwrackprämie.
The auto boss called for an EU-wide introduction of the scrap bonus.

*Under a German program put into place in January 2009, the "scrap bonus" or "environmental bonus" pays auto purchasers a bonus of 2500 euros for buying a new car and scrapping a car that is at least nine years old. The buyer must prove that the old car has been broken down for scrap before getting the bonus. Similar plans have also been introduced in France and other EU countries.
