   high as a house (flames, waves, etc.); crushing, overwhelming; sky high, towering

Irans Präsident Ahmadinedschad hat angeblich einen haushohen Wahlsieg errungen.
Iran’s President Ahmadinejad has supposedly won an overwhelming election victory.

*The adjective hoch drops the c when it takes any e-ending (-e, -en,
-er, -es, etc.).
