Ich bin in Oberhausen (Rheinland) geboren, dort zur Schule gegangen, und habe dort auch Maschinenbau studiert. War lange Zeit im Untertagebau, musste aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen ausscheiden. Jetzt bin ich Frührentner und lebe jetzt am Rande der Stadt Minneapolis. Ich war mit einer Amerikanerin verheiratet, aber leider ist diese an Krebs verstorben.

I was born in Oberhausen (Rheinland), went to school there, and studied mechanical engineering. For a long time I worked in underground mining, but for health reasons I had to quit. Now I am an early retiree who lives in the suburbs of Minneapolis. I was married to an American, but unfortunately, she died of cancer.
